the chairman of the Expediency Council.Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, appointed the head and the members of the Expediency Council for a five-year period, in a decree issued on Wednesday, official media reported.
In this decree Ayatollah Hashemi Rafsanjani is reinstated as the chairman of the council.
It was supposed that the presidency of the Expediency Councilwould be changed but Ayatollah Hashemi Rafsanjani is assigned again to his post, according to the decree.
