Tehran, June 9, IRNA � Government spokesman Mohammad Baquer Nobakht said on Tuesday that judiciary is investigating embezzlement by former government.

On the arrest of former vice-president for executive affairs Hamidreza Baqaee, he said the incumbent government reported to the Judiciary the extensive financial violations perpetrated by the former government and handed over documents and evidences to judiciary.

Asked to elaborate on extent of the violations, he said that the Judiciary is in charge of judgement about wrongdoing of the former government.
