Tehran, May 3, IRNA � Managing Director of Farabi Cinema Foundation Alireza Tabesh discussed ways of expanding cooperation with Armenia on film industry.




Tabesh met and conferred with the head of the National Cinema Center of Armenia George Georgian here on Sunday.

He referred to the centuries of Armenians presence in Iran and said both Iranian and Armenian artists have greatly influenced each other.

He also pointed to the existing areas of potential cooperation and said the film festivals in both countries for children and young adults could pave the way for production of more movies.

The Armenian official praised Iran�s culture-oriented, humanitarian and educational cinema and outlined the activities of cinema artists in his country.
