Belgrade, April 22, IRNA � Iran Ambassador to Bucharest on Wednesday held talks with Romanian Foreign Minister on ways to develop economic cooperation in different areas including oil, gas and manufacturing tractors.

According to Iran's Embassy in Bucharest, Hamid Moa'yer delivered message of Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif to Romanian Foreign Minister Bogdan Aurescu, calling for expansion of bilateral relations.

In the meeting, Moa'yer said that the Islamic Republic of Iran is interested to expand mutual relations and he would coordinate a meeting between the two foreign ministers.

He said that Romanian industrial products are welcomed in Iranian market.

He said that quality of Romanian-manufactured tractors has been acknowledged in Iran and the Iranian oil and gas industries have got acquainted with Romanian industrial services.

The ambassador called for revival of joint economic commission to explore the grounds for economic cooperation.

He said that holding Romanian exclusive exhibits in Iran would be an appropriate framework for developing trade and commerce.

Meanwhile, the ambassador gave explanation about Iran's four-point peace plan to settle Yemen humanitarian crisis to the Romanian foreign minister.

He expressed deep concern about deterioration of humanitarian situation in Yemen and the human tragedy caused by the Saudi bombardment of the county, and said that the EU is expected to stop bloodshed in Yemen.

Aurescu, for his part, underlined importance of bilateral relations and said that Romanian deputy foreign minister visited Tehran last year and Romanian government is planning for visit of two foreign ministers either in Tehran or Bucharest or in New York.

He called for enhanced economic cooperation and parliamentary relations.

Praising Iran's valuable role to ease the Middle East crisis, he said that the region with all these problems can not have capacity for a new crisis in Yemen.

The Romanian senior diplomat said that he discussed Yemen issue with EU foreign ministers on Tuesday and the EU decided to end the humanitarian tragedy in Yemen.
