Tehran, April 21, IRNA - Defense Minister Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan arrived in Baku, Azerbaijan Republic, on Monday.




Upon arrival, Dehqan was warmly welcomed by senior Azeri defense official in Baku airport.

The visit is made at the official invitation of Azerbaijani Defense Minister, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov.

While in Azerbaijan Republic, Dehqan is set to hold talks with several high-ranking Azeri political-defensive officials on issues of mutual interests, regional and international developments.

Iran and Azerbaijan Republic boast a 759-kilometer joint border.
