According to a report, posted on Presidential Office's website, the mosque is now as the most important architectural, religious and tourist attraction in Turkmenistan.
Altitude of the mosque is 55 meters and has four minarets with the height of 91 meters each and it was the symbol of Turkmenistan independence in the year 1991.
The mosque with eight entrances was built on 18 thousand square meters of land land and 10 thousand prayers can pray in the compound.
