President Rouhani was officially welcomed by President Berdimuhamedov upon his arrival in the country earlier this morning.
During his two-day stay in Turkmenistan, President Rouhani will also participate in Iranian-Turkmen businessmen gathering.
This is the third meeting between Rouhani and Berdimuhamedov.
Rouhani will sign mutual cooperation documents and plant a tree in a park as a symbol of friendship.
