Iran's Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani hold talks with Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al- Sabah on March 10, 2015.[/caption]Kuwait City, March 10, IRNA Majlis (Parliament) Speaker Ali Larijani met with Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al- Sabah here on Tuesday.
In the meeting, Larijani said Iran and Kuwait have many cultural and historical roots and expressed hope that relations in all fields would expand.
He evaluated parliamentary cooperation between the two countries 'very good'.
Larijani arrived in Kuwait City on Monday afternoon. He is scheduled to meet other Kuwaiti officials today.
He will leave Kuwait for Qatar after winding up his two-day trip to the Persian Gulf Emirate.
