Khorramabad, Feb 2, IRNA - First Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri said on Monday that that former government that had pledged to fight fraud and corruption in the country has proved to be the most corrupted government throughout history.
In the former government, people expected their problems to be resolved through proper planning but the then government could not keep its promises and left the worst record of service throughout history, he said.
Speaking to reporters in a ceremony marking the inauguration of Ishvan dam in Khorramabad, he said the only way to overcome economic difficulties is successful implementation of resistance economy.

The Islamic Revolution belongs to all people and does not belong to any specific or individual political party, he underlined.

Some 36 years after triumph of the Islamic Revolution and after experiencing many ups and downs, the noble Iranian people are still committed to their principled mottos 'Independence, Freedom and Islamic Republic,' Jahangiri said.

Under wise leadership of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the Iranian nation should successfully overcome all challenges and problems, he said.

Zionists along with certain regional countries are trying to isolate Iran but to no avail, he said.
