TEHRAN, Jan. 13 (MNA) Iran will host the 7th International Neurosurgery Congress, sponsored by Professor Majid Samii in May.Iran will host the prominent specialists and surgeons at the Seventh International Neurosurgery Congress, sponsored by Professor Majid Samii and attended by about 1,500 specialists from several countries.
Professor Majid Samii, the world surgical genius, has assumed responsibility for the congress at the international level which is expected to properly demonstrate Irans rightful place in the field of neurosurgery to the world.
The 11-day meeting will provide participants with an opportunity to share information and experience.
The congress will mainly focus on promoting cooperation and exchange of information among Iranian and World scientists in the field of medical specialty related to prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of disorders which affect any portion of the nervous system.
In collaboration with Tehran University of Medical Sciences and Iran Ministry of Health and Medical Education, the eminent Iranian neurosurgeon Professor Majid Samii will organize the congress in Milad Tower, Tehran.
Known as a prominent and world-known neurosurgeon and medical scientist, Iranian Professor Majid Samii received the World Physician award by the German northern city of Hanover. He has been the president of the International Society for Neurosurgery and the founding president of the Congress of International Neurosurgeons.
