TEHRAN Jan 11(Shana)--A gasoline production plant at Bandar Abbas Refinery in southern Iran is 92% complete, managing-director of the company said.
Hashem Namvar said the plant, whose agreement was signed in 2006, is being operated by National Iranian Oil Engineering and Construction Company (NIOEC).
Petrochemical Industries Design and Engineering Company and Petrochemical Industries Construction and Installation Company are contractors of the project.
The project was initially set to become operational in 36 months, but the deadline was recently extended to July this year.
Once fully operational, this project will be producing 21,000 b/d of low-density naphtha, 25,000 b/d of high-density naphtha and 120 tons a day of sulfur.
