Iraq minister, IRGC deputy commander discuss issues of interest

Tehran, Jan 1, IRNA Visiting Iraq Defense Minister and accompanying delegation met with IRGC deputy commander here on Wednesday.
IRGC Deputy Commander Brigadier General Hossein Salami told Khaled al-Obeidi that Iran, in direction of assisting central government of Iraq in maintaining unity, national security and social balance, will not spare any efforts.
He described success of Iraqi military forces against Takfiri terrorists in different areas of the country 'promising'.

The general stressed that from the Zionist geo-political viewpoint, the Islamic countries should be small and disintegrated and stability and security should not exist in these states.

He underlined that Iran will do its utmost to help Iraqi military and government.

Khaled al-Obeidi hailed the general's analysis of current situation in Iraq and said that both countries are aware on common conspiracies of enemies.

He stressed that Daesh is a big danger for Islamic world and Iraq is fighting with Takfiri terrorists on behalf of all Muslims.

Al-Obeidi expressed concern over activities and approach of the so-called coalition against Daesh and said that there is no way except cooperation for confrontation against such a huge conspiracy.
