Jask, Dec 28, IRNA � Deputy Navy commander Rear-Admiral Gholamreza Khadem Bigham said Sunday that the Navy will test-fire new domestically-made weapons in 'Mohammad Rasoulallah' wargames underway in southern Iran.
��Khadem Bigham said the maneuver is a massive one representing the might of the Iranian army.
All weapons which are being used or are to be used during the drills are developed by Iranian experts and scientists, Khadem Bigham said.

Through the might of its forces and advanced weapons it possesses, the Iranian army could respond to any possible threats, Khadem Bigham added.

He said the aim of the drills is to show the might of the Iranian army, with the message of peace and friendship in the light of Islamic and regional unity.

The deputy navy commander said that parts of naval forces of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) are cooperating with the army in the war games.

'Mohammad Rasoulallah' war games began in southern Iran early on Thursday in a 2.2 million s/km area stretching from east of Hormuz Strait in the Persian Gulf to southern parts of the Gulf of Aden.
