Bandarabbas, Hormuzgan Prov., Dec 2, IRNA � Capacity of Iranian ports for loading and offloading cargo has risen to 184 million tons a year, Managing Director of the Ports and Sailing Organization Mohammad Saeednejad said on Tuesday.
On capacity of the ports for transport of passengers, Saeednejad said that the northern and southern ports are capable of transporting 18 million passengers a year.
He noted that currently 11 commercial ports are active.
