TEHRAN Nov 29 (Shana)--National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) and Irans Central Oil Fields Company (ICOFC) have adopted a five-year plan for gas gathering in four oil fields, an ICOFC official said.Akbar Qaed Amini said the gas gathering is to be carried out in Soumar, Maleh Kouh, Sarkan and Naft Shahr oil fields.
He said that the fields run by ICOFC produce 300 mcm/d of gas, adding that investment in gas gathering projects would be lucrative.
Qaed Amini said ICOFC administers three subsidiaries: West Oil and Gas Production Company, East Oil and Gas Production Company and South Zagros Production Company.
