VIENNA, November 24 (Sputnik) A meeting betweentheP5+1group ofinternational mediators (comprising foreign ministers ofRussia, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, China, Germany) and Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has begun inthe Austrian capital.

The meeting currently held atPalais Coburg is part ofthe last-ditch attempt toreach a comprehensive agreement onIran'snuclear program.
Thedeadlineforreaching a deal ensuring a peaceful nature ofIranian nuclear program is less than12 hours away.

The West has long accused Iran ofdeveloping a nuclear weapon underthe guise ofa civilian nuclear program. These claims have been repeatedly denied byTehran officials, who assured that the country's nuclear development has apeaceful natureand is aimed purely atsatisfying Iran's energy needs.
