A view of Iran's Majlis[/caption]Tehran, Nov 11, IRNA President Hassan Rouhani on Tuesday nominated Fakhreddin Ahmadi Danesh-Ashtiani as the new Minister of Science, Research and Technology.
In a letter to the parliament, the President introduced Danesh-Ashtiani as his nominee for the post.
The MPs will have ten days to examine the President's choice before holding the voting session.
Majlis in a public session on October 29 turned down President Rouhani's third nominee for the post.
Mahmoud Nili Ahmadabadi failed to obtain a vote of confidence as 160 lawmakers voted against his appointment.
Minister of Science, Research and Technology Reza Faraji-Dana was impeached and then dismissed by parliament in August.
