TEHRAN, Oct. 25 (MNA) Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has congratulated victory of Iranian athletes in Incheon 2014 Para Asiad games.In a statement released this morning, President Rouhani congratulated successful participation of Irans Ghadeer Caravan in Para Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea.
The achievements and increase in number of medals gained compared to previous rounds, indicates faithfulness, talent and capability of our athletes. I have no doubt with proper planning and management of sports authorities and coaches, a brighter and more successful future would be ahead, read the statement.
Iran participated in Para Asiad Games with 145 male and 56 female athletes in 16 sports. Iranian athletes grabbed 37 gold medal, 52 silver and 31 bronze medals to be placed in fourth ranking after China, South Korea and Japan.
