Parviz Golpasand also from Iran won the silver with 36.21meters.
Vietnamese Be Hau Nguyen claimed a bronze medal with 36.17meters.
China tops medal tally with 159 medals, followed by South Korea (67), Japan (37) and Iran (35).
Iran has previously won 22 gold medals in the games.
