TEHRAN Sep. 6 (Shana)--Irans Offshore Engineering and Construction Company (IOEC) is building five new platforms destined for its construction yards in Khorramshahr, said an official.Gholamreza Manouchehri, managing-director of IOEC, said after their construction is finished, the platforms will be delivered to various South Pars phases for development projects being handled by the Pars Oil and Gas Company (POGC).
IOEC has successfully finished 4 other offshore platforms for phases 17, 18, 12-A and 12-B of the supergiant South Pars gas field which have already been installed in their designated spots.
IOEC is an active Iranian company which is mainly involved in design and construction of petroleum facilities.
