Tehran, Aug 30, IRNA � Nicaraguan Minister of Foreign Affairs Samuel Santos Lopez conferred with Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif here on Saturday.
According to the report of Foreign Ministry Media Department, in the meeting, Zarif underlined Iran?s intention to expand relations with Latin American countries, especially Nicaragua.
He said that Iran and Nicaragua have great capacity for cooperation in different fields.

Zarif added that the two countries can have cooperation in the fields of engineering-technical affairs as well as agriculture.

Samuel Santos Lopez, for his part, underlined necessity of promotion of cooperation level between the two countries.

He added that Iranian companies can participate in different projects in Nicaragua and invest there.

He said that Nicaragua welcomes transferring know-how as well as exchanging experiences with Iran.

In the meeting, the two sides exchanged views and discussed bilateral ties as well as regional and international developments.
