Iran official: Zarif to visit Saudi Arabia

TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iranian envoy to theOrganization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Hamid-Reza Dehghani said Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif would visit Saudi Arabia.
Asked about the time of Zarif's travel to Saudi Arabia, he said, "The issue is about future. But God willing, it will come definitely."

He also called talks between visiting Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Countries Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and Saudi Foreign Minister Saud al-Faisal good and fruitful, and said, "The meeting is in line with interests of the two countries and Arab and Islamic states."

"We discussed bilateral ties, regional developments and challenges, including extremists' movements and barbarous Zionist regime's attacks on Gazans with our brothers in Saudi Arabia."

He said the two sides explored ways for curbing extremists and terrorist movements and unity of Islamic states in facing the challenges.
