TEHRAN, Aug. 09 (MNA) Aras free Trade-Industrial Zone is the first zone in the world based on the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation halal standards.Aras Free Zone International and Public Relations Office has announced that the Director General of the Aras Free Zone Mohsen Khadem Arabbaghi and Director General of InternationalHalalOrganization Abdolhossein Fakhari have signed an agreement forhalalproducts andhalaltourism.
In accordance to the agreement, Aras Free Zone is the first region on export and import of halalfood, services and tourism.
In the accord 1,000 companies withhalalcertificate can benefit the services of this international port.
Having signed the agreement, Mohsen Khadem Arabbaghi told reporters that Aras Free Zone directors strongly believe inhalaltrade in the region; further Abdolhossein Fakhari pointed to the strategic role of the Aras Zone in expansion ofhalalindustry in the region.
