MP accuses Ahmadinejad for employing ?unqualified teachers?
Tehran, July 17, IRNA - An Iranian MP accused the Education Ministry of former president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad for hiring 10,000 unqualified teachers.
Citing data provided by the presidential office, Gholamali Jafarzadeh, MP from the northern city of Rasht, added,14 percent (of teachers) who were employed had primary school degrees, 16 percent secondary school degrees, one percent having high school diplomas and 33 percent higher education degrees, Thursday?s edition of ?Iran Daily? said in its Upside/Downside column.
He noted that the former government employed 450,000 people and established 200,000 organizations and institutes without legal procedures.

Jafarzadeh noted that over 650,000 people have been hired during the recent years.

During the tenure of former administration, majority of family members of officials, governors, governor generals and ministers were employed without going through legal procedures, Jafarzadeh said.
