Obama repeats anti-Iran war rhetoric
US President Barack Obama has once again repeated his anti-Iran warmongering rhetoric as Tehran and the P5+1 group continue nuclear negotiations.
In an exclusive article for Israeli newspaper Haaretz, Obama said that Washington is determined to prevent Iran from what he called obtaining a nuclear weapon, saying the White House is keeping every option on the table to accomplish that goal.

Reiterating US commitment to Israels security, Obama said, We have consulted closely with Israel throughout the process of nuclear negotiations with Iran.

Israel and its powerful lobby groups have been urging the already skeptical American lawmakers to increase sanctions on Iran over its nuclear energy program.

Obamas threats come as Iran and the five permanent members of the UN Security Council the United States, Russia, France, Britain and China - plus Germany resumed their sixth round of nuclear talks in the Austrian capital of Vienna on July 3 to discuss a permanent accord.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has conducted numerous inspections of Iran's nuclear facilities, but has never found any evidence indicating diversion in Tehran's nuclear energy program toward military purposes.

Iran argues that as a signatory to Non-Proliferation Treaty and a member of the IAEA, it is entitled to develop and acquire nuclear technology for peaceful purposes.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has said that the language of force has no place in foreign policy agendas, adding that any state using the all-options-on-the-table rhetoric is actually taking outdated measures.
