TEHRAN, June 22 (MNA) Irans FM has threatened if a deal is not agreed with the Powers, Iran would roll back and has the right to pre-Geneva deal conditions.Mohammad Javad Zarif who was attending in a joint press conference with his New Zeland counterpart answered Mehr News question about Irans possible options if a deal failed to be agreed, and if Iran would roll back to pre-Geneva deal conditions. We are working hard to hammer out a deal by July 20, and if it fails, we will decide on the issue based on provisions made in Geneva Joint Plan of Action, Zarif told Mehr News.
If a final deal is not hammered out, Iran has the right to roll back to previous conditions in its nuclear programme, he asserted.
On the July deadline, Zarif told the press that the negotiators had time to strike a deal according to Geneva deal. He called all sides to the negotiations for working for an ultimate agreement.
Some countries are used to hold firmly to their positions up to last minute, when they come to understanding that they had better to be flexible; we would not welcome such conducts, Zarif added.
We would not demand more than our rights, and are willing to respond to legitimate concerns of international community, he told the press.
New Zealand FM heads a delegation to Tehran, which will meet with Islamic Republic of Irans state and government officials, including head of Expediency Discernment Council Hashemi Rafsanjani.
