Zarif emphasizes on south-south cooperation against terrorism
TEHRAN, June 15 (MNA) Irans FM has emphasized on south-south cooperation to solve the terrorism issues.

In the joint press conference with South African International Relations and Cooperation minister in Tehran, Zarif and Nkoana-Mashabane emphasized on commercial and economic cooperation between the two countries.

The visit aims to establish the 12th joint commission of the two countries.

Zarif congratulated the 20th anniversary of South African anti-Apartheid movement and said that the Islamic Republic of Iran always supports the revolutionary movements of the South African.

He paid tribute to Nelson Mandela and said that common problems and worrisome between the two countries made them closer to one another.

Zarif said that South Africas president would visit Iran in the near future to hold the twelfth joint commission between the two countries in Tehran.

He added that they had talked about important joint and bilateral issues in addition to the regional issues.

He condemned terrorist measures taken by extremists in Nigeria and North African countries against children and women in the name of religion and dismissed them as unacceptable.

He emphasized on south-south cooperation fighting extremism and violence and said that both countries cooperation would help to work on this matter.
