ISNA | Mohammadreza Dehdari, Mostafa Shanechi, Mohammadali Ghasemi, Masoud Mohaghegh, Majid Khani, Mahnaz Dezhban, Mohammad Ghajar: Iranians held the mourning ceremony of Sham-e Ghariban on Sunday night, August 30, in different cities of Iran. Sham-e Ghariban mourning ceremony is held in the evening of Ashura for the captives of Karbala including Zainab bint Ali, the sister of Imam Hussain (PBUH) and Imam Zayn al-Abidin (PBUH), the fourth Shiite Imam. During Sham-e Ghariban ceremony, people light candles as a sign of mourning for the captives of Karbala.
