Press TV - Richard Becker, a commentator with ANSWER Coalition, believes that the US government�is to blame for tearing apart the fabric of the Middle East, warning that�Washington�is ultimately responsible for the "tragic consequences" of its intervention in�the region.

He referred to the general attitude adopted by top officials in the US government -- including remarks made by Secretary of Defense James Mattis and echoed by President Donald Trump himself -- suggesting that �everywhere you look and see trouble in the region, you see the hand of Iran.�

Dismissing the suggestion as �ridiculous,� Becker said statements as such could be taken as �a kind of projection, because really everywhere you see disaster in the region, you see the hand of the United States and its allies."
