TEHRAN (Tasnim) � Scott Bennett, a former US army psychological warfare officer and counter-terrorism analyst, in San Francisco, said the US government has long been attempting to brainwash Americans into �fearing� Iranians due to the old grudge it holds against the 1979?Islamic Revolution.

�The American government has held a grudge against Iran since 1979, and they have been trying to brainwash the American people into fearing Iran ever since,� Bennett said in an exclusive interview with the Tasnim News Agency on the occasion of the 36th anniversary of the 1979 takeover of the US Embassy in Tehran.

He added, �They (US authorities) constantly play videos of Iranians chanting "Death to America" to that end and this is the key of their propaganda.�

Scott Bennett is a US Army Special Operations Officer (11th Psychological Operations Battalion, Civil Affairs-Psychological Operations Command), and a global psychological warfare-counterterrorism analyst, formerly with defense contractor Booz Allen Hamilton. He received a Direct Commission as an Officer, held a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) security clearance, and worked in the highest levels of international counterterrorism in Washington DC and MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida.

He has developed and managed psychological warfare theories, products, and operations for US Special Operations Command, US Central Command, the State Department Coordinator for Counterterrorism, and other government agencies.

He served in the G.W. Bush Administration from 2003 to 2008, and was a Social Science Research Fellow at the Heritage Foundation.� His writings and lectures seek to enhance global awareness and understanding of modern psychological warfare, the international military-intelligence community, and global surveillance operations being artificially generated under the spectre of �National Security�.

He has written extensively on the intelligence community�s surveillance activities addressed by Edward Snowden�s National Security Agency-Central Intelligence Agency materials; and since 2010 has filed numerous military-government whistle-blowing reports with Congressional Committees, including: the Intelligence, the Armed Services, the Government Oversight and Reform, the Homeland Security, the Judiciary, the Foreign Affairs, the Banking, and the Terrorism Committees.

His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Advertising and Spanish Minor from San Jose State University in California, a Master of Arts in International Business and Public Policy from George Mason University in Virginia, and a Ph.D. (ABD) in Political Theory from the Catholic University of America in Washington D.C. He currently resides in California.

The following is the full text of the interview.

Q: Every year Iranians hold massive rallies across the country to mark the 1979 (Aban 13, 1358) takeover of the US embassy in the capital, Tehran.�Large groups of?demonstrators will gather outside the building of the former US embassy, also known as the �den of espionage,� in protest to the US continued efforts to interfere in Iran�s internal affairs.�Why has Washington been always after destabilizing Iran and its neighbors since the 1979?Islamic Revolution?

A: The American government has held a grudge since 1979, and they have been trying to brainwash the American people into disliking Iran ever since.

They engage in informational psychological warfare, economic sanctioning, military bullying, and political slander. However the internet is changing the way people think, and they are seeing Iran in a whole new light. Many of the American military have respected Iran since it offered to help America fight the al-Qaeda elements.

We discovered that the entire al-Qaeda element was an invention by the CIA and a false mercenary force that is used to destabilize the Middle East. Why? A large component of Americans have dual citizenship with Israel, and they occupy positions in government, the media, and the military and academia, and they see Iran as a challenge to the potential hegemony of Israel in the Middle East.

The US government is being used by a group of people with an age-long vision of destabilizing and destroying all national and cultural sovereignty. They financed and equipped both sides of every major war, including the Iran-Iraq conflict (war).

There is no hope of integrity in dealings with this rogue and deceitful government. All the nations of the world need to come to this honest conclusion.

Q:Back on September 8, Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei?said, �The Islamic Revolution took Iran, which was fully under?the Americans� control, from them and this issue is the reason behind the US hostility against the Islamic Republic.

A: Every year, Iranians celebrate the removal of the US puppet dictator who ruled their country for the United States and the British oil interests. The American government has grown into oligarchy and military-industrial complex that uses the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) to manipulate other nations.

When these nations refuse or reject this �subservience�, the United States brands them a rebel, a threat to the American order, and engages it with multidimensional hostility.

Any religious, economic, technological or political sovereignty is resistance to the vision and plans of the groups that run the government of the US.

Q: Given the recent deal reached between Tehran and major world powers on July 14 in the Austrian city of Vienna, do you believe that the US government will finally change its attitude towards Iran?

A: The actions of the American government with regards to global events are changing people�s perspectives like never before. Communication technology is allowing the people of the world to see bad behavior, rude words, and barbaric violence and immorality instantly and clearly. This is both good and bad. It represents a potential danger for infecting people with moral degeneracy, while at the same time serving as the evidence uncivilized character by nations and governments.

But we must always remember the people of America are more conservative than their government leaders, and in fact have a degree of hostility and contempt against their political leaders, especially now.

The American people will automatically change its attitude towards Iran, when they begin to see and hear and read positive, healthy, moral, and peaceful words and actions by the Iranian people and government. It is a public relations war for the hearts and minds.

The American people have been brainwashed to see Iran as �burning the American flag and chanting Death to America� and that has allowed politicians to threaten Americans with the fear that Iran has a goal of burning and destroying Americans, their homes, their farms, their sporting events and leisure activities, and restricting their television and internet and information under the guise of Sharia (Islamic legal system) law.

This is the great delusion Americans must awake from. That in fact Iran is not a threat to America, its people, or its way of life.

When will a viper cease to be a viper? America is betraying its own people, can you trust this whorehouse government not to sell itself to the next highest bidder?

Q: As you know, the US has deployed its troops and warplanes to a number of Middle Eastern countries, including Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan under the pretext of the �Global War on Terrorism�.�Since the US military presence in the Middle East, the region has become more destabilized and that it has led to the creation of the ISIL terrorist group. What is behind this military presence? Why does Washington insist to keep its troops in the Middle East and prolong the �war on terror�?

A: In the 1980�s America backed Saddam Hussein in a conflict against Iran, and at the same time sold weapons to Iran to fund CIA operations against Russia in Central America and Afghanistan. This was based on the Brezinsky �Grand Chessboard� model. The Western Banking world, the International Monetary Fund, and the US controlled United Nations and the European Union were the instruments the US and Israel used to pressure and advance this policy.

This behavior is typical of the Satanic agenda of �order out of Chaos.� This government destroys what gives stabilization, so it can impose its self-righteous NWO (New World Order). If people do not submit to this international crime syndicate they will seek to destroy you.
This became clear in the 1990�s. The American goal since the first (Persian) Gulf War against Saddam Hussein has been a control and development of the Middle East by destroying its current government, culture, religion, and replacing it with American models of political, economic, media life.

The was then developed into a �New Pearl Harbor� military strategy by the Project for a New American Century, and specifically a man named Dov Zakheim. Dov Zakheim incidentally was my boss when I was a defense contractor at US Central Command and Booz Allen Hamilton and the State Department working in counterterrorism.

I saw firsthand all of the corruption, theft, deception, and brainwashing that the Zionist elements engage in, and how criminal it is. Indeed Americans are waking up and seeing this, and good men and women in the military and defense contractor and political circles are waking up and speaking up and leading other Americans and Europeans to see this truth. And as they do, Iran and Russia will be seen in a much more truthful and positive light.
