An Iranian security official says several explosions were heard in different areas around the southeastern city of Saravan in Sistan and Baluchestan province, near the border with Pakistan on Thursday.

Pakistan's Foreign Ministry has recalled its ambassador to Iran for consultations in protest against targeting bases of a terrorist anti-Iran group.
