TEHRAN, April 13 (MNA) � Iran�s non-resident charg� d'affaires to London has said Iran�s consulate had been opened in London in February.
Mohammad Hasan Habibollahzadeh told Mehr News that �one of the main issues between Iran and Britain is resuming of the direct relations of the two countries.�
�In accordance to the bilateral agreements, Omani and Swedish ambassadors no longer represent Iran�s and Britain�s interests in Tehran and London and the relations have been reopened formally.
He added that one of the issues discussed during the negotiations is reopening of Iran-Britain consulates.
Habibollahzadeh maintained that there are a large number of Iranians living in Britain the consulate would offer consular services.
