Russia, Germany hope for progress in Iran’s nuclear talks

Moscow, Jan 29, IRNA – Russian President Vladimir Putin and German Chancellor Angela Merkel in a telephone conversation on Wednesday expressed hope for continued progress in Iran’s nuclear talks.

IRNA, quoting Press Bureau of Kermlin Palace, reported that Putin and Merkel talked on phone about Iran’s nuclear program situation on Wednesday.


They considered Geneva nuclear agreement on Iran’s nuclear program.

The two states also discussed Ukraine issue and supported efforts to settle Syrian crisis within framework of Geneva II talks.

They also exchanged views on results of Tuesday meeting between heads of Russia and the European Union.
