Kabul, Oct 2, IRNA - Head of Afghan Institute for Strategic Studies (AISS) said the second international conference on Herat security negotiations will be opened in Herat on October 4.
Talking to IRNA, Davood Moradian said several political and academic experts, delegates from a number of international organizations, journalists, business delegates as well as media and civil society representatives from Afghanistan, Iran and 30 other countries will participate in the two-day gathering.

He added Afghanistan peace and tranquility in regional and international arenas, 2014 presidential election and campaign against narco-trafficking will be among major issues to be discussed by participants in the event.

The event will be wrapped up on October 6.
