IRNA – Head of National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language (NCPUL) Iftikhar Hussain Arif expressed readiness for promoting cultural relations with Iran.

Hussain Arif made the remarks in a meeting with Iranian cultural attaché in Pakistan Shahabedin Daraei.

He appreciated the efforts made by Iran cultural attaché office in developing Persian Language in Pakistan.

Both sides stressed on promoting cultural, literary and language relations.

The National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language (NCPUL) is an autonomous regulatory body in the Government of India. It is the main authority of Urdu language and education in India, being one of two authorities responsible for the regulation of Urdu, the other being the National Language Authority of Pakistan.
