Off-context dialogue of two presidents in GECF Summit

Tehran, Nov 23, IRNA – President Vladimir Putin asked his Iranian counterpart Hassan Rouhani a question during his address in GEFC Summit which halted the general procedure of the conference for a few minutes and led to bilateral talks between the two presidents.

Putin who had arrived in Tehran at noon time Monday was the 6th speaker at the Gas Exporting Countries Forum's Summit Meeting.
After reading a few lines of his statement, the Russian president stopped speaking in Russian to ask the audience in English weather his words were being translated for the audience or not.
Hearing that comment President Rouhani smiled at his Russian counterpart and ensured him: I have checked all channels; the speeches are properly translated into all languages.
Putin then thanked President Rouhani and continued reading his statement about the natural resources of Russia and his country's contribution to preserving regional security and that Russia is providing the world with energy supplies.
