30 Dec 2014 - 11:07

TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Countries Hossein Amir-Abdollahian arrived in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday for talks with senior officials of the country on issues of mutual interests as well as regional and international developments.
"Fighting terrorism and extremism as well as developments of Syria, Iraq, Palestine, Bahrain and Yemen are on the agenda of talks with the UAE officials," he told ISNA.

The two sides would also confer on issues of mutual interests as well.

In late November, the Emirati Foreign Minister Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan paid an official visit to Tehran, where he met with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani.

During his meeting with Sheikh Al Nahyan, President Rouhani hailed brotherly Tehran-Abu Dhabi ties and said “no external factors” can harm the “friendship” between the two nations.
