Learning to pilot light aircrafts in Iran

There is a villa complex situated along the shores of the Caspian Sea in the northern part of Iran that has its own private airport.


The airport is used for light aircrafts that are mainly used for sightseeing. The complex has a training school that offers flying lessons under guidance from an instructor for people who are passionate about learning how to fly.

The “Vali” castle of Ilam

Ilam Province located in the Zagros Mountain Range in western Iran is land-filled with beauty and wonder. Ilam city is the capital of the province Ilam. The climate of the province is diverse, having cold weather along the mountainside while the southern part has very warm.

The “Vali” castle of Ilam dates back to 1905. Here, there are old dresses, handicraft and other cultural items on display.

Another feature of Ilam is its agricultural system. Ilam is one of the first regions in the world to have one. Excavations done by a group archeologists from the Chicago University in 1963 show that the history of this region dates back to some 8000 years BC.

Contemporary art in Iran

The Museum of Contemporary Arts located in Tehran holds one of the most valuable collections of Western modern art outside Europe and the United States.

With various exhibits on display, the museum has a collection of over 3,000 works of art by different artists. It is considered as one of the world’s most valuable collections, having pieces from Pablo Picasso to famous Iranian artists like Hossein Zendehroodi and Parviz Tanavoli.
